Pages Pinnacle Climb

Starting from Pine Creek Road, Numinbah Valley, this return walk takes you to the top of Pages Pinnacle through the woodlands of Springbrook National Park, crossing Wild Cattle Creek along the way. After the little scramble before the summit, you’ll be met by the rewarding views over Binna Burra and Advancetown Lake. This walk is uphill all the way to the peak, but the teeming wildlife of Springbrook may take your mind off that. Whether it’s posing lizards on a tree, a gorgeous snake(keep your distance), or the soothing birdsong. Keep in mind that the path may be overgrown at the top, so cover yourself well to avoid scratches. Also take extra care around the ridge. Let us begin by acknowledging the Traditional Custodians of the land on which we travel today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present.

Directions	From Pacific Motorway, M1 Turn on to The Link Way then drive for 215 m Turn left onto The Link Way, 99 and drive for another 380 m At roundabout, take exit 1 onto Gold Coast Springbrook Road, 99 and drive for another 640 m Continue onto Franklin Drive, 99 and drive for another 17.7 km Turn sharp right onto Pine Creek Road and drive for another 5.9 km

Getting started
From the gravel car park on Pine Creek Road(near Scouts Numinbah Camp Site), head towards the signposted metal gate(closest one to the car park) along the gravel path. Head around/over the gate and join the fire trail. Follow the said trail as it veers right and leads you towards Wild Cattle Creek to continue the Pages Pinnacle Climb. Look out for the tree with “TOP” written on it in black near a pile of rocks as it marks the turn-off to the peak.....

	After another 240 m turn right. After another 540 m continue straight.
	After another 50 m veer left.
	After another 750 m turn right, to head along Pinnacle Break.
	After another 680 m (at the intersection of Pinnacle Break & shortcut) turn left, to head along shortcut (a walking track). Look out for a tree with "TOP" written on it in black.
	After another 150 m (at the intersection of Pages Pinnacle footpad & shortcut) turn left, to head along Pages Pinnacle footpad.
	(Pages Pinnacle) Continue another 560 m to find the end. Then turn around here and retrace the main route for 3 km to get back to the start. "Pages Pinnacle".
